History

Moscow Coffee House was incorporated in 1997. Our coffee roasting plant began operation the same year. Up until 2004 our company had been specializing in the production of roasted coffee beans as well as roasted ground coffee. Instant coffee for own brands was produced by our Swiss partners.

In 2004 the first in Eastern Europe full-cycle plant for the production of freeze-dried, agglomerated and spray-dried coffee began operation. The equipment was supplied by Niro A/S, a Danish company. This event marked the beginning of a new era in the development of our company and for the entire Russian coffee industry as a whole: from that moment high-quality instant coffee was being produced not only in the countries of Western Europe but also in Russia.

State-of-the-art equipment along with highly skilled personnel and a unique system of quality control have made it possible to achieve and maintain an unprecedented and sustained high level of product quality. In 2004 in Paris Moscow Coffee House received one of the most prestigious awards in Europe, the «For Quality» prize.

Since 2004 our company's market share has increased significantly. This is due not only to high product quality but also to the fact that unlike numerous competitors, Moscow Coffee House has thoroughly researched the peculiarities of Russia's taste preferences and has successfully put this knowledge to use in the production process ensuring the highest possible level of customers' loyalty to the company.
