For a good harvest, you need to put a lot of effort. Coffee beans are planted while they are still in their parchment-like shells. In order for the grains to germinate, a strictly dosed amount of moisture and light is necessary, so that the sprouts are cultivated in a special nursery. Young seedlings can be seen after 10 weeks; when they reach 5-10 cm in height, they are transplanted into separate pots and transferred from the nursery to the greenhouse. 4-5-month-old seedlings with a height of 30-40 centimeters can already be planted in the open ground.
The sprouts are planted in rows to leave enough space for care and harvesting. Large branching trees are certainly planted around coffee trees so that the hot sun does not burn the tender leaves.

The coffee tree begins to bloom for the first time in the third year, the aroma of white coffee flowers is compared with the smell of jasmine or orange tree. The first harvest should be expected in the fourth year of the tree's life, but it will be small – the tree brings a full harvest only in the sixth year of life, and only if it is carefully cared for – weeding, spraying, pruning. The grains of Dominican Arabica are oblong, bluish-green in color.
In the Dominican Republic, as in other coffee regions, there are entire dynasties of coffee experts. They are attracted by high salaries and excellent working conditions on the plantations of The Moscow Coffee House".
